Who are we?

Established in 1996 and located in Fort Smith, Arkansas, QCA Central [formerly American Precision Fabricators] has been a reliable source for quality American-made products. Our capabilities were expanded in 2020, becoming sister-division to Quality Circuit Assembly- a well renowned electronics manufacturer based in San Jose, California. This pairing has allowed QCA Central to provide turnkey solutions to industrial problems nation-wide and around the globe.

We provide a quote for single part in 48 hours or less; Quotes for larger packets (7 parts or greater) are typically completed within 7-10 days. Our Lead time turnaround is the standard lead time of 7-14 days.

  • Initial RFQ:
    Obtain Customer Supplied drawings
  • Research:
    New part verification process, regulatory requirements, assess mfg. capability, PP requirement, expenses, Metrology, Packaging/shipping requirements
  • Analysis:
    FMEA, CTQ, Jig/Fixture, Floor Plan, PP constraints, QA Control Plan
  • PrePilot/Pilot:
    QA Audit, Quality escapes, Process capability
Equipment and Production Capabilities
  • L3 Salvagnini laser with two loading tables, each measure 60’’ x 120’’
    Maximum thickness on the laser if .5’’ for mild steel and .4’’ for stainless
  • 5 ft. Amada punch press turrets, an EM 2510 and a Vipros 2510 King
    Both turret tables measure 92” x 50’’ with a max thickness capability of .25’’ but can process products up to 10ft long
  • 12ft. 175-ton Durma press brake, a 6ft. 60-ton Accurpress press brake, and 12ft 175-ton Accurpress press brake
    Maximum thickness on the brakes with current tooling is .4’’
  • 10ft Roper Whitney folding machine for any products that require a hem
    Maximum thickness on the folder with current tooling is .4’’
  • 3 TIG welders and 4 MIG welders
    Our welders are experienced in processing a wide range of materials, from 22g stainless to .5’’ steel
  • Two Fadal vertical machining centers
    both with a table measuring 16’’ x 30’’ with 7000 RPM spindle speed
  • Hardware Installation, from self-clinching nuts and stand-offs to spring loaded panel fasteners.
  • Powder Coating, any color specification; oven size 8ft x 20ft
  • Post-Process Assembly Services, installation field-kits for various industry technicians (HVAC Smoke Detector Kits, UV Light and Transformer Kits)
